1. Obtain Darak's leg bone from Diggs Duggun
- Travel to Beholder's Maze / Gorge of King Xorbb and find Diggs Duggun around 1260, -550.
- Bring Diggs 1 Pick and 2 Dwarven Ales. Keep the two ales unstacked for the hand-in.
- Give Diggs the Pick and both Dwarven Ales to receive A Dusty Old Leg Bone.
- Take the leg bone to Valeron Dushire in North Freeport if you want the full quest dialogue. Valeron introduces Darak's burial task and returns the bone for the later casket combine.
2. Collect the remaining bones, sword, and shield
- A Dusty Old Skull: ground spawn in Meldrath's room in Steamfont Mountains.
- A Dusty Old Backbone and Dusty Ribcage: both can be collected from the Ghost Room Pit in The Estate of Unrest. The ribcage also has a Mistmoore Castle spawn, but you may skip it if you already took the Unrest copy.
- Dusty Old Finger Bones: ground spawn inside Phinigel Autropos's room in Kedge Keep, in the south-wall alcove near the large rock. Current EQL documents the exact area around -150, +127, -270.
- A Dusty Old Jawbone: underwater ice cave in Everfrost Peaks, under the third wall emblem around 4535, -5235.
- A Dusty Broken Sword: underwater in the North Kaladim mines, roughly +761, +332.
- A Dusty Broken Shield: swim from the Erudin docks and follow the right cliff to the ledge around -605, -725.
- Together with the returned leg bone, you should now possess six bones, one broken sword, and one broken shield.
Unrest is the efficient stop because the backbone and ribcage can both be collected there. Mortals occasionally devise a route that wastes less time. Record the occasion.
3. Build the Gem Encrusted Casket
- Find Ping Fuzzlecutter outside West Freeport and say `What components?` to receive an Empty Gem Bag.
- Place 1 Diamond, 1 Star Ruby, 1 Pearl, 1 Fire Emerald, 1 Sapphire, 1 Fire Opal, and 2 Enchanted Platinum Bars into the Empty Gem Bag. Keep the two enchanted bars unstacked.
- Combine the bag to make a Full Gem Bag.
- Give the Full Gem Bag to Ping Fuzzlecutter to receive the 8-slot Gem Encrusted Casket.
- Place all six dusty bones plus A Dusty Broken Sword and A Dusty Broken Shield into the casket and combine it. The result is the sealed, non-container Gem Encrusted Casket used for the burial.
A coffin encrusted with a diamond, five other gems, and enchanted platinum. Apparently a plain wooden box would have offended the dead man's sense of occasion.
4. Bury Darak and defeat the Tortured Revenant
- Find Simon Aldicott by the lake in West Commonlands.
- Give Simon the sealed, non-container Gem Encrusted Casket.
- The burial is interrupted when a Tortured Revenant spawns and attacks. Kill it.
- Loot Revenant Ash, identified as the Ash of Darak Lightforge.
- Give Revenant Ash to Simon Aldicott to receive Spell: Divine Might.
The revenant spawns as part of the casket hand-in. Have your group positioned before handing over the coffin rather than discovering the combat step while reorganizing your bags.
5. What Divine Might does
- Spell: Divine Might is usable by Paladins at level 45.
- It is a permanent-duration self buff that adds Divine Might Effect as a melee proc while you attack with a weapon.
- The proc, Divine Might Strike, deals 65 magic damage when it fires.
- Current EQL spell data lists Divine Might at 100 mana, 3.0-second cast time, and a 6.0-second recast.
