This Means Warrr

Complete The Kerran Sha`rr's two-part Kerra Island task chain: uncover the Desecrated Kejaar Totem during Something is Wrrrong, then defeat the kerran tiger spahi and return its Heretic Insurrection Orders during This Means Warrr. The final reward is the Talisman of Kejaar Kerrath, a neck item with HP, mana, and endurance regeneration.

The Unburied Scholar's Appraisal

Two short tasks, two specific enemies, one extraordinarily useful talisman. The first investigation is merely the key that opens the second task, so do not stop when the Sha`rr hands you a ring. The real prize waits one tiger pit farther south. At last, an artifact that rewards persistence with less waiting between everything else you do.

1. Find The Kerran Sha`rr

  1. Travel to Kerra Island and enter the Kerran village in the northwest portion of the zone.
  2. The Kerran Sha`rr is in the basement of the northern building at approximately 902.55, 347.27, -6.81.
  3. Hail The Kerran Sha`rr and select or say `explorrre the island` to begin Something is Wrrrong. The spelling really does contain three consecutive r's.
Yes, `explorrre` has three r's. The Kerrans have entrusted the safety of their island to a task phrase that looks like your keyboard briefly rebelled. Type it correctly and move on.

2. Complete Something is Wrrrong

  1. Go to the southern island and search its northern side for a kerran `amir associated with the investigation.
  2. Kill a suitable kerran `amir and loot 1 Desecrated Kejaar Totem. Current EQL NPC data lists the Totem as a common drop from this target.
  3. Return to The Kerran Sha`rr and give him the Desecrated Kejaar Totem while Something is Wrrrong is active.
  4. This completes Something is Wrrrong, grants +20 Kerra Isle faction and Hamed's Ring of Tears according to current EQL documentation, and immediately assigns the follow-up task This Means Warrr.
Do not confuse this intermediate ring with the prize you came for. The ring marks the end of the first task. The Talisman requires the follow-up task that begins immediately afterward.

3. Kill the kerran tiger spahi

  1. With This Means Warrr active, return to the southern island and head to the tiger training pits at its southwest end.
  2. Find the kerran tiger spahi on the platform surrounded by tigers in the center of the pit area.
  3. Kill the kerran tiger spahi and loot 1 Heretic Insurrection Orders. Your task should update when the Orders are obtained.
The second investigation is refreshingly direct: find the commander standing amid an alarming quantity of tigers, kill him, and take the paperwork. Bureaucracy is occasionally improved by combat.

4. Return the Orders for the Talisman

  1. Return to The Kerran Sha`rr in the village basement.
  2. Give him the Heretic Insurrection Orders while This Means Warrr is active.
  3. The task completes, current EQL documentation records +20 Kerra Isle faction and experience, and you receive Talisman of Kejaar Kerrath.
Talisman of Kejaar Kerrath grants HP Regen 2, Mana Regen 2, and End Regen 2 before upgrades. Three forms of recovery in one tiny relic. Now this interests me. Do not misplace it in a bag beneath six stacks of bat wings.

5. Farming repeated Talisman completions

  1. You may farm multiple Desecrated Kejaar Totems and multiple Heretic Insurrection Orders before returning to town.
  2. For each reward cycle, speak to The Kerran Sha`rr and activate Something is Wrrrong, turn in exactly 1 Desecrated Kejaar Totem, allow This Means Warrr to activate, then turn in exactly 1 Heretic Insurrection Orders.
  3. Repeat that task sequence for each additional set you farmed. Current EQL documentation explicitly recommends this method to avoid running between the village and southern island for every individual completion.
  4. If the open-world targets are heavily camped, current EQL player reports confirm that a personal Kerra Isle instance can be used to farm the quest mobs without competing for the same spawns.
Farm first, perform the ritualized paperwork afterward. The task system refuses bulk completion, but it does permit preparation. Even immortality does not make repeated walks across the same island more interesting.

Tips from the Crypt

  • The clean farming loop is one Totem plus one Orders per Talisman completion. Gather several pairs before returning to The Kerran Sha`rr, then cycle the two tasks at the NPC.
  • The reliable Totem targets are the northern-side kerran `amirs on the southern island. Community testing warns that similarly named amirs around the tiger pit may not be the correct quest-item spawns.
  • The kerran tiger spahi is the bottleneck because the Orders come from that specific target on the southwest tiger-pit platform.
  • If Kerra Isle faction blocks dialogue, current EQL race-unlock guidance notes that faction can be improved by killing kobolds in The Warrens, and suitable race illusions can also change how the Kerrans react to you.
  • The larger Aid the Kerrans of Kerra Isle task is relevant to unlocking Kerran as a primary race, but it is not necessary to complete every other Kerran subquest merely to farm this Talisman chain.
